One Glendale After School Youth Sports Program Presents Volleyball Championship 2024

On January 12, 2024, the Pacific Community Center at 501 S. Pacific Ave., Glendale, CA 91204, will be buzzing with excitement as the One Glendale After School Youth Sports Program holds its Volleyball Season Championship. The evening promises thrilling volleyball matches, with the consolation game kicking off at 6:30 p.m. and the championship game following at 7:30 p.m.

The event anticipates a substantial turnout, with hundreds of spectators expected to gather and cheer for the talented participants in both the consolation and championship games.

The One Glendale After School Youth Sports Program is a collaborative effort between the City of Glendale’s Community Services & Parks Department and the Glendale Unified School District. The program receives sponsorships from USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, Positive Coaching Alliance, and the Glendale Parks & Open Space Foundation. Further support is extended by Glendale Community College, Cal State University Northridge, and the Glendale Police Department.

Designed to provide after-school sports programming to fourth and fifth-grade students in eight South Glendale schools, One Glendale encompasses four sports across four seasons: flag football, volleyball, basketball, and soccer. Each season spans eight weeks, culminating in a championship game.
