Glendale Police Department Advances in Commercial Burglary Investigation

The Glendale Police Department has made a significant advancement in its investigation into a series of commercial burglaries.

On May 1, 2024, Glendale Police Department Burglary/Auto-Theft Detectives executed an arrest warrant, apprehending Charles Christopher, a 24-year-old from Compton, suspected of being responsible for seven commercial burglaries, including five occurring in one night.

During the arrest at Christopher’s home, detectives recovered several items directly linked to the burglarized businesses in Glendale.

The Glendale Police Department presented their findings to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office, leading to the filing of six felony burglary charges and four vandalism charges against the suspect.

The investigation is ongoing, with detectives continuing to follow all leads.
