The City of Glendale will host its annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 27, 2024, at 9:30 AM. The event will take place outside Glendale City Hall at Memorial Wall, located at 613 E. Broadway, Glendale, CA 91206, near the corner of E. Broadway and Isabel St. This ceremony serves as an opportunity to remember and honor the brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives in service to the country.
The event will be emceed by Glendale’s Deputy Police Chief Andrew Jenks, with Lieutenant Alex Krikorian, a distinguished U.S. Marines veteran, delivering the keynote address. The ceremony will feature a presentation of colors, a flag salute, and the singing of the national anthem, paying tribute to the nation’s heroes. The Glendale Police Department Color Guard and Glendale Police Explorers will participate in the presentation of colors and the laying of the roses, respectively.
The community is encouraged to attend and participate in this significant event to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the country’s freedom.
