In response to a recent ransomware cybersecurity incident, GUSD information technology leaders and cybersecurity experts are actively addressing the impact on the district’s systems. The dedicated teams of GUSD information technology leaders and cybersecurity experts are tirelessly addressing the ongoing ransomware incident affecting the systems. Access to GUSD Google accounts and several cloud-based applications have been restored districtwide.
The following services are now available using a Chromebook or personal device:
- GUSD Google Accounts (Gmail, Calendar, Google Drive, Google Classroom)
- GUSD Chromebooks
- Clever
- ParentSquare
- StudentSquare
However, the following services connected to the GUSD network are not yet available:
- Online access via GUSD employee laptops and desktop computers
- GUSD Internet Services
- Q Student Information System
- Q ParentConnection
- Q StudentConnection
The teams are actively working towards the swift restoration of GUSD network systems.
