The Glendale Police Department is actively searching for two individuals involved in a possible robbery attempt that turned deadly. The incident occurred at approximately 10:40 PM on July 7, 2024, in the 200-block of East Dryden Street, Glendale. Multiple 911 calls reported gunshots and a man lying in the road. Responding officers found the man with a single gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical aid, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Glendale Police Detectives promptly initiated an investigation. Preliminary findings suggest that the deceased individual attempted an armed robbery against the occupants of a white SUV. The decedent was found with a loaded firearm, which was recovered at the scene.
The unidentified shooter and a passenger fled the scene in their white SUV before police arrival. The Glendale Police Department is seeking to locate these individuals.
