Glendale Police Arrest Three Juvenile Suspects Following Fatal Robbery Incident

In response to reports of a hit-and-run collision at the intersection of Lexington Drive and Columbus Avenue in Glendale on Saturday, December 16th, at around 10:00 am, Glendale patrol officers promptly initiated an investigation. The victim, identified as a 76-year-old Glendale resident, was discovered by officers lying in the street. Despite immediate life-saving efforts and transportation to Los Angeles County USC Hospital, the victim succumbed to her injuries.

Subsequent investigations by Glendale Police Detectives revealed that the incident was not an accident but a robbery. The perpetrators, aged 14, 15, and 16, were apprehended by Glendale Police Detectives for felony murder. All three suspects were taken into custody and are presently held at the Glendale City Jail.

Glendale Police Chief Manny Cid extended condolences to the family and loved ones of the victim, emphasizing gratitude towards Glendale Police Detectives for their meticulous efforts in seeking justice for the victim’s family and friends. The case is slated to be presented to the District Attorney’s Office for filing next week.
