The City of Glendale is excited to announce the return of the Verdugo Mountains 10K Trail Run & Hike on May 5, 2024, starting at 8:00 AM. This annual event, which began in 2011, brings together runners and hikers to explore the challenging terrain of the Verdugo Mountains while supporting the Glendale Parks & Open Space Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing open space and outdoor programs in Glendale.
The course, starting at Brand Park near the Doctor’s House, takes participants on a scenic journey up the Brand Motorway, ascending 1,686 feet to reach an elevation of 2,536 feet above sea level. Along the way, participants are treated to breathtaking views of Glendale and the San Fernando Valley from the mountain summit.
Registration for the event is now open and can be completed at www.my.racewire.com/event/7969. The registration fee is $40 per runner, which includes a t-shirt and a finisher medal.

Parking: Free parking will be available, although due to anticipated participation levels, street parking in the neighborhood may be necessary.
