The City of Glendale reaffirms its commitment to supporting the local small business community with the announcement of its second annual Small Business Summit, “Let’s Grow Glendale.” The event is scheduled to take place on May 2, 2024, at the Embassy Suites Glendale.
Recognizing the significant role of small businesses in the city’s economy, the summit aims to provide entrepreneurs and business owners with valuable resources, networking opportunities, and inspiration for growth. Mayor Elen Asatryan highlighted the importance of supporting diverse businesses, emphasizing the need for intentional efforts to ensure access to resources for women-owned and minority-owned enterprises.
Developed in alignment with the Small Business Administration’s National Small Business Week, the summit will feature guest speakers from the SBA and various business resource partners. Attendees can participate in a series of breakout sessions covering topics such as financial planning, access to capital, marketing strategies, and procurement opportunities.
In addition to the educational sessions, the summit will host a networking celebration in the late afternoon, offering attendees further opportunities for business connections. The event will run from 1:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Embassy Suites Glendale.
