Immerse yourself in the wonders of nature with your family every month! Join the Glendale Outdoors! (GO!) Community Program for a guided hike at Deukmejian Wilderness Park, engage in nature-inspired crafts and games, and explore the Stone Barn Nature Center on this exciting day. Staff will provide water, snacks, and complimentary bus transportation from Pacific Community Center. The bus departs at 8:30 a.m. and returns at 12:30 p.m., courtesy of Metro, the valued community partner.
*The program commences at 9:00 a.m. at Deukmejian Wilderness Park. If you opt to meet at the park, please be there by 8:45 a.m. The program concludes at 12:00 p.m., and bus passengers will be back at Pacific Community Center by 12:30 p.m.
Important details:
- A FREE bus will depart from Pacific Community Center, 501 S. Pacific Avenue, at 8:30 a.m. and return at 12:30 p.m.
- Everyone is encouraged to ride the bus! Please arrive by 8:00 a.m. for check-in with staff if you plan to ride with them.
- Ensure you wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and a hat or cap.
- Adult supervision is essential! One adult is required for every three children aged 17 and under.
