• Cooling centers open:
o ​Adult Recreation center – 201 E. Colorado
o ​Sparr Heights Community Center – 1613 Glencoe Way
o ​​Pacific Community Center – 501 S. Pacific

GLENDALE, CA – The City of Glendale has announced mandatory emergency evacuations in the Glenwood Oaks and Mountain Oaks neighborhoods in Glendale. The Whiting Woods neighborhood of Glendale is under voluntary evacuation.

In order to consolidate resources such as Red Cross and Pasadena Humane, one evacuation center will remain open:

  • ​​Crescenta Valley High School – 2900 Community Ave

o   ​Showers available

o   ​Pets welcome. Pasadena Humane Society is set-up on location

There are also cooling stations open at all community centers.

·         Adult Recreation center – 201 E. Colorado

·         Sparr Heights Community Center – 1613 Glencoe Way

·         Pacific Community Center – 501 S. Pacific
